· Anamorphic Typography
An exploration of the potential and existing relationship between architecture and typography by Joseph Egan, Hunter Thomson.
At the first glance, Anamorphic Typography might look like just some random lines painted on the walls, but as you walk by and change the perspective, it starts to form letters. When you’re in the right position, the letters clearly pop out of the walls. Personally, I think property owners should start letting architects and designers be more free with their designs. The feeling you get when you see something that intentional but unexpected is awesome.
I have seen typography like this before and I think that it is rather amazing how it can be read in so many different ways, but can only make sense from a certain perspective. It is a really clever idea that I just love.
