Hello, my name is Adam Benton and I live in the town of Clacton On Sea in Essex. I am a graphic design student studying at Colchester School of Art and Design, which is part of Essex University and currently studying a BA (hons) Art and design, Graphic Media course, currently in my second year. Gesture: Mark-making with expression.

These are the drawings i did which portray the gesture of the artist. It was first done by one minute of using charcoal on all of your hand show the movement of the body and how the skin stretches around the muscles. After, using a charcoal stick and a eraser, work into the piece to give it some form.

I do rather like how these turned out as the previous week i hated what i did because the proportions were way off, but i think i have improved.
