Hello, my name is Adam Benton and I live in the town of Clacton On Sea in Essex. I am a graphic design student studying at Colchester School of Art and Design, which is part of Essex University and currently studying a BA (hons) Art and design, Graphic Media course, currently in my second year. This blog is for me to show my current works, and to show where I get my inspiration from as well as visual and contextual research.

Colour is a vital part of design. It can be the fine line between making your work stand off the shelves or blend into the background.

I like the use of colour and the layout is intriguing. Very well thought out.

Really fun play on food packaging. The nerd in me loves this idea and I would probably go for the healthy options.

Gendercide.

A typographic video which includes information on the one child policy in China. Its hard hitting information and fluent transitions.

It will help me with my One child policy project.

According to signs displayed in various cities around the UK, the fine for feeding pigeons is £2500. After researching into this, I learned that this fine is more than for possesion of crack cocaine or assaulting a police officer.

An interesting topic I would not of thought of myself. It goes to show how important research really is.

Artist Dain Fagerholm makes these incredible 3D illusions out of rough, sketchy drawings.

That is pretty amazing! Hurts my eyes after a few seconds though.
